Colin Lucid accepted the call as Pastor from Calvary Baptist Church in August 2001. He was converted at a Church service at age 23 along with his wife. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical education from Florida Bible College. He served 5 years in Healey Massachusetts before coming to Calvary Baptist. He has been married to Anne-Marie for 43 years. They have been blessed with 4 children and 13 grandchildren. His passions are Love God, preach His Word, Love God’s people and see people come to the saving knowledge of Christ.
We are John & Nancy Winters. We were married in 1974 and came to Massena to live. I began working at Alcoa in 1973. Shortly after moving here we joined Calvary Baptist Church. I worked at Alcoa (later Arconic) from 1973 to 2019 beginning as a laborer, then a maintenance electrician. My career spanned 46 years for which we thank God for His continual provision. We both had come to faith in Jesus Christ in our teenage years, Nancy at the age of 13 & myself at age 17. The gospel message to repent of one’s sin and receive God’s Son as the only way to enter God’s family was a work of God’s grace placed in our hearts. We continue to grow in the scriptures by the faithful ministers God has brought to this church where we raised our three children. God’s call & invitation for all to come unto Him was received by our children – they now serve the Savior with their families. We welcome you to this family of God.
At a young age, while attending First Baptist Church in Rochester, NY, I made a profession of faith, believing in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It was a blessing to grow up in a Christian home and see God at work in our family life. Even at a young age I was zealous for the Lord. I remember handing out Bibles at the grocery store register and restaurants. I wanted to share the gift of salvation with everyone. I have been blessed to find a wife who has a deeply rooted faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We have been blessed with three healthy, happy children. Our Lord and our family are the priorities in our life. We rejoice as our family grows daily in the knowledge of God’s Word. Our faith also grows as we support and get involved in the ministries at our Church.
