Calvary Baptist’s Music Ministry seeks to enhance our congregation’s worship experience through music that has a high degree of reverence for God.

Colossians 3:16-17 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.”

These verses teach that music in the church should serve to deepen the impact of the gospel in the hearts, minds, and lives of Christians.  Therefore, at Cavalry Baptist, we sing songs that are biblically-faithful, theologically-rich, and gospel-centered.  We believe music is a gift from God that helps us express our worship to God, encourage other Christians, and extend the gospel to the world.
